BMW has already revealed that we can expect a substantial redesign of the 2024 BMW X3, but for now, let’s take a look at the differences between what we have now and with the 2023 BMW X3 trims and compare their features and options.

2023 BMW X3 sDRIVE30i

The 2023 BMW X3 sDRIVE30i packs a punch with its 2.0-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with the RWD sDrive30i and AWD xDrive30i both providing 248 horsepower. Drivers can enjoy 25 mpg combined fore city/highway driving which is more than enough for most commutes and drives. Adding the $995 destination fee to the sDrive30i base price brings the total to $46,395.

Included Features:

• Adaptive front lights – These LED headlights swing with the front wheels to light the way around turns.
• Auto-dimming mirrors – Mirrors that recognize bright headlights closing from behind, then automatically dim their reflections. The outboard mirrors are also heated and equipped with integrated turn signals.
• Rain-sensing wipers – When moisture is sensed on the windshield, the wipers are engaged automatically. The wiper speed adjusts according to the volume of the rain.

2023 BMW X3 M40i

The BMW M40i is a powerful upgrade of the already impressive xDrive30i, boasting an awe-inspiring panoramic sunroof, smooth proximity keyless entry plus Live Cockpit Pro. Of course, All Wheel Drive comes standard for maximum gripping power. Adding the destination fee to the xDrive30i base price equals $48,395.

• Adaptive M Suspension – Changes the damping in milliseconds when conditions warrant. This rapid response enhances both handling and ride quality.
• Live Cockpit Pro – Allows the driver to spend more time watching the road.
• Variable sport steering – This steering system provides varying degrees of steering assist based on the vehicle’s speed. Low-speed maneuvers receive more, while turns at greater velocity get less.

2023 BMW X3 M

The 2023 BMW X3 M is the most powerful of the bunch sporting a 473-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-6. AWD is standard. The EPA combined fuel economy of the X3 M is estimated at 17 mpg. After adding the $995 destination fee to the M base price you can expect a total of $73,895.

• Available Driving Assistance Professional Package – Semi-autonomous system that aids the driver in accelerating, braking, and steering the vehicle under certain conditions.
• Competition Package – Boosts horsepower by 30 ponies and increases torque from 457 lb-ft to 479 lb-ft.
• Adaptive cruise control – Helps maintain a safe distance from the vehicle in front, braking and accelerating as needed.
