The King of Sports Sedans Returns

Scheduled for a July 2024 release, the seventh generation of the M5 is almost here! For those who’ve waited for the King of Sports Sedans to return, we’ve compiled all the specs and details on the 2025 BMW M5 we have so far!

Performance

Performance is synonymous with the M name, and the 2025 BMW M5 doesn’t disappoint. Although it hasn’t been officially confirmed, many sources have reported that the M5 will output a mind-boggling 735 horsepower and 735 lb-ft of torque. Seeing how the 6th generation M5 boasts a zero to sixty of 2.8 seconds, we’re insanely excited about how quick the Plug-in Hybrid 2025 M5 will be. Speaking of which, the legendary V8 will also be returning!

Battery Range

The M5 will be sharing the same powertrain as the XM, so it could deliver anywhere from 30 to 60 miles of electric battery range. It’s too early to tell so stay tuned for more details!

Technology

If BMW continues its current trend, the 2025 M5 will feature a vast array of technologies designed for comfort, connectivity, and customization. Expect features like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Wireless Device Charging, and Ambient interior lighting, and more!
