When Will The 2026 BMW X6 Be Released?

Not too much is changing for the 2026 BMW compared to last year, which isn’t bad considering how incredible the BMW X6 already was. One new aspect you can expect from the 2026 BMW X6 is a new color called Tanzanite Blue. This brand-new metallic paint color will be an option for the xDrive 40i trim. The 2026 BMW X6 will be released in summer 2025 and can now be reserved at BMW of Owings Mills! Pricing for the BMW X6 starts at $75,100 for the xDrive40i model and can go up to $95,150 for the M60i model.

What To Expect 

Inside the 2026 BMW xDrive40i, you’ll find a 375 horsepower turbocharged 3.0L inline six with all-wheel drive. The more powerful M60i comes with a V8 engine capable of producing 523 horsepower for lightning-quick acceleration. The base xDrive40i accelerates from 0-60 mph in just 5.2 seconds, while the V8 inside the M60i can go from 0-60 mph in a staggering 4.2 seconds! Fuel economy estimates the BMW X6 will average 23 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on highway driving. However, it is important to keep in mind that the V8 engine inside the M60i will drop efficiency to 17 mpg city and 22 mpg highway.
